It's nice to see youngsters who appreciate great bands and good food.  This is Melissa enjoying a Crab Pretzel at Pickles.  That is a soft pretzel filled with crab meat and topped with cheese.  It's wonderful!

God, it's cold today.  Around 10 degrees F (-12C for my overseas friends) this morning and with the wind blowing it felt like 50 below.  Made my 5 block walk home from work miserable.

Cold and Wet

It's been a cold, wet, blustery day here in North Carolina.  I've been here for 4 days now and this is the first picture I have taken.  Haven't been in the picture taking mood lately.  This dark, dreary and cold time of year doesn't stir too much in the way of 'creative juices' in me.  Driving back to Baltimore in the morning and hoping that the winter weather advisory for that area tonight and tomorrow doesn't slow me down but it will probably be a 12 hour drive instead of the usual 6.  We'll see.  (follow-up:  weather was fine, only a little ice but I made it in 6 hours which is great)
